For centuries, women have been asked to choose.
To be pure or desirable.
To be devoted mother or untamed lover.
To be worthy—or wanted—but rarely both.
This workshop explores the deep psychological and cultural split imposed on women between the Madonna and the Whore archetypes—and how this division lives on in our bodies, relationships, sexuality, and sense of self.
Hosted under our ongoing collaboration Daughters of the 4th House, this is not a traditional sharing circle—but a guided, experiential, and embodied workshop designed to move women from understanding into integration.
This gathering aligns with Evolve Academy’s February theme of slow, sensual, and sacred sexuality, inviting women into a space that is provocative, reverent, and deeply healing.
What We’ll Explore
Archetypal & Mythic Foundations
We’ll begin by grounding this work in myth, psychology, and cultural conditioning—unpacking where the Madonna/Whore split originated and how it became embedded in the feminine psyche.
Two Sacred Circles
Participants will be gently guided into two separate experiential circles—one devoted to the Madonna / Mother archetype and one to the Whore / Lover archetype.
Each woman will have the opportunity to enter both spaces, witnessing how each archetype lives within her.
Embodied Reflection & Dialogue
Through facilitated discussion, reflection, and ritual, we’ll explore how these identities have shaped desire, shame, devotion, resentment, pleasure, self-sacrifice, and self-expression.
Reintegration & Somatic Integration
The workshop closes with a guided reintegration process, followed by a somatic embodiment practice to help the body release the split and reclaim wholeness—not just conceptually, but physically and emotionally.
What You’ll Walk Away With
• A deeper understanding of how the Madonna/Whore split has shaped your identity, sexuality, and relationships
• Language and insight to name internal conflict without judgment
• A felt experience of integration, not just awareness
• Greater permission to embody devotion and desire simultaneously
• Tools for relating to your body, pleasure, and boundaries with more compassion
• A sense of grounded empowerment rooted in feminine wholeness
Who This Is For
This workshop is for women who:
• Feel tension between who they are and who they’re “allowed” to be
• Want to explore sexuality in a way that feels sacred, slow, and sovereign
• Are drawn to depth psychology, archetypal work, embodiment, and feminine healing
• Are ready to move beyond binaries and reclaim inner unity
No prior experience with astrology, somatic work, or circles is required.
Important Notes
• This is a 3-hour facilitated workshop, not a drop-in circle
• Space is intentionally limited to preserve depth and safety
• Come as you are—nothing to perform, nothing to prove
