Evolve Internship Program: Event, Marketing & Creative Media Assistants

Evolve Academy of Conscious Learning is a creative learning space, community center, and event venue designed to help people grow into the best versions of themselves. We host classes, workshops, and community gatherings centered on conscious business, creativity, wellness, and personal evolution.

We’re offering two unique internships for two motivated, detail-loving individuals eager to gain real experience in event planning, marketing, creative media, and entrepreneurship. Both interns will be trained across all aspects of Evolve’s operations—from managing events and digital marketing to creating media content and supporting the day-to-day rhythm of a thriving community hub.

Over time, tasks will be divided based on your individual strengths and interests, but both interns will develop a full understanding of how creative enterprises like Evolve function from the inside out.

Interns will receive direct mentorship from Olivia Pool (Evolve’s founder) and Mishiah Crute (creative director + marketing strategist)—two Charleston-based entrepreneurs whose combined experience in business strategy, creative storytelling, and conscious leadership offers a rare and holistic learning opportunity.

What You’ll Do

Event Promotion & Management

• Gather event details from facilitators and collaborators.

• Refine and write or rewrite event listings with accompanying images (using AI tools when appropriate) to match Evolve’s mission and aesthetic.

• Create and manage listings across Eventbrite, the website, newsletters, and social platforms.

• Maintain and organize the Google Calendar for all classes and events.

• Review copy for clarity, brand alignment, and engagement potential.

• Track registrations, attendance, and analytics to measure success.

• Coordinate logistics and communication with facilitators.

• Support co-working, class rentals, and space management needs.

• Assist with last-minute event pushes, promotional timelines, and tiered ticketing.

Marketing, Social Media & Creative Media

• Support Evolve’s social media presence, especially on Instagram.

• Manage and organize content, test and boost posts, and coordinate visuals from facilitators.

• Write and refine captions, covers, and campaign copy for clarity and tone.

• Capture, edit, and produce short-form video content (Reels, Stories, teasers, recaps).

• Collaborate on visual projects.

• Experiment with new video and graphic formats that express Evolve’s creative identity.

• Help define and evolve Evolve’s social strategy to reach key goals (1,000+ followers for live access).

• Learn A/B testing, post analytics, and audience engagement strategy.

Administrative & Operations Support

• Participate in and take notes during company brainstorming and strategic planning meetings. 

• Organize files, documents, and communications to keep systems running smoothly.

• Run small errands (making keys, picking up supplies) and assist with setup or light cleaning.

• Prepare newsletters and manage mailing lists.

• Represent Evolve at community or networking events.

• Contribute to system documentation and process mapping using AI and workflow tools.

Professional & Personal Development

• Attend select Evolve events and workshops free of charge (subject to space).

• Learn event planning, marketing strategy, and social media management through direct experience.

• Gain familiarity with tools like Eventbrite, Mailchimp, Canva, AI copy tools, and social analytics.

• Network with Charleston’s creative and wellness entrepreneurs.

• Receive direct feedback and mentorship to refine your professional voice and creative skills.

• Develop autonomy and confidence through real projects that make an impact.

Olivia Pool

Founder, Business Strategist, and Visionary

Olivia is an award-winning entrepreneur with over two decades of experience running various creative ventures in Charleston and Los Angeles. She has created and run several different publications, big cultural events, and successfully sold her last magazine business before moving to LA to finish a Masters in Spiritual Psychology. With over 15 years of experience in coaching and consulting, she has traveled all over the world as a Spiritual Psychology Coach and teacher. She brings deep expertise in editorial direction, design, marketing, event production, curation, facilitation, and small business leadership.

Mishiah is an accomplished creative and community leader who manages social media and marketing for some of Charleston’s most beloved wellness and lifestyle brands, including IVY Energetic Studio, Satsang Yoga, Grit and Grace, and Evolve itself. She’s known for her soulful approach to branding—merging clarity, aesthetic intention, and authenticity to create content that feels alive.
