New Moon Sankalpa marks the first New Moon of 2026, arriving at the threshold between Capricorn and Aquarius. This is a moment of both responsibility and renewal. Capricorn asks us to get honest about what we are building. Aquarius invites us to loosen outdated structures and orient toward more conscious ways of living, working, and relating.
Sankalpa is often translated as intention, but its deeper meaning is a vow that arises from the core. Not a resolution. Not a performance. A quiet inner commitment that feels true enough to live with. This New Moon supports intentions that are embodied, realistic, and aligned with the long view rather than driven by urgency or self pressure.
Our time together will include oracle reflection and journaling, a short teaching on the astrology of this New Moon and the energetic tone of early 2026, gentle somatic movement, a grounding yoga practice, and yoga nidra with spacious time to listen inward.
This gathering is for anyone who wants to begin the year with clarity instead of force. For those who are tired of setting goals that do not stick. For those who want their intentions to be lived, not just named.
Please bring a journal, something to write with, a yoga mat, and layers. A blanket and eye covering are strongly recommended. We will have a few yoga blocks available, and you are welcome to bring anything that supports your comfort and accessibility.
