Kundalini Pop Up Community Class with Alex Seaman
Join us for Kundalini Yoga as taught by Alexandra Seaman this Sunday, August 17th from 5-6:15pm. This class is dynamic and ever-changing, but you can expect clean structure, intelligent leadership, and a balanced blend of breathwork, kriya, and meditation. Each class includes a gong layout and extended savasana for nervous system repair. Instruction is trauma-informed, integrative and embodied.
What to know:
The signature, repetitive movement pattern of Kundalini Yoga is highly effective for dislodging trauma from the nervous system. As we've all heard too many times, our issues are in our tissues - and to un-stick ourselves from the past, sometimes we need to literally and figuratively shake things up.
This makes the Kundalini practice particularly helpful in moving through blocks, stuck patterns, addictive tendencies, and heavier states like depression and anxiety. But this also can make it emotionally triggering. Bring a blanket, a journal, and a heart-mind that is willing to open. You may also want a water bottle and pillow.
All levels, bodies, backgrounds and abilities are welcome. This practice is quite inclusive by nature and there's something in it for most every body.
